The Business Deposit Account at a Glance
The Accesscu Business Deposit account pays 2.0% AER on all balances, carries no transaction fees, needs only €250 to open, and is DGS-insured to €100,000.
Business deposits are part of the same app-first service model as our personal products: one relationship, one support line at +353 1 555 0123, and no separate sales desk.
The account is designed for SME cash reserve and cash flow, and is linked to business checking so surplus funds sweep between products instantly.

How Interest Is Calculated
Interest accrues daily on your closing balance at 2.0% AER and is credited monthly, so a €50,000 balance earns roughly €83 in interest each month.
There is no tier ladder and no minimum-balance condition after opening: 2.0% AER applies from the first euro and compounds monthly under the standard Irish tax rules.
- Daily-balance calculation, monthly credit
- One flat rate — no tiers between €250 and €1,000,000
- Interest credited on the last working day of the month
- A monthly tax statement so interest is easy to report at year end
Our accountant wanted a separate reserve pot that earns more than a current account. This account at 2.0% AER with no fees is the right shape — we sweep €20,000 into it every month and drag the €83/month of interest straight into the P&L.
The sweep rule is the killer feature. Checking holds what we need for the week, every euro above that lands in savings, and month-end statements let my accountant reconcile in minutes rather than hours.

Fees, Withdrawals and Accessing Funds
The Business Deposit account costs nothing to run: €0 transaction fees in every direction, while the linked business checking account costs €8.50 per month.
Businesses tell us yearly that hidden fee sweeps annoy them more than headline rates, so the pricing is deliberately flat: both deposits and withdrawals are free, and transfers to business checking are instant.
The only monthly cost in the pair is business checking at €8.50, which includes the bank-intel dashboard...
- €0 transaction fees on deposits, withdrawals and transfers
- Instant, free transfers to linked business checking
- No minimum balance and no inactivity fee after opening
- Business checking cost is €8.50 per month, all-in
