Accesscu Digital Wallet
Tap, wave or pay from your wrist — your Accesscu cards, tokenised in Apple Pay, Google Pay and Fitbit Pay.
The official methodology is detailed in the main overview.
Digital Wallet at a Glance
- Three wallets — Apple Pay, Google Pay and Fitbit Pay — set up free from the Accesscu app.
- Tokenisation replaces your card number, so the merchant never sees it.
- Limits: €50 contactless in store and €500 online per wallet per day.
- Works with every Accesscu debit and credit card, in euro, from the day the card is issued.
Supported Wallets
Accesscu supports Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, Google Pay on Android and Wear OS, and Fitbit Pay on Fitbit devices — all free to use.
All three wallets pull the same card from the same app, so there is nothing to configure per provider and no separate registration per wallet. One token per device keeps every tap traceable to the right phone or watch.
Business cards from Accesscu business checking (€8.50 per month) work in the same wallets with the same limits, if your company card is an Accesscu card.
| Wallet | Devices | Cards |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Pay | iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch | Debit and credit |
| Google Pay | Android phones, Wear OS | Debit and credit |
| Fitbit Pay | Fitbit watches | Debit and credit |
Add a Card in 30 Seconds
Open the Accesscu app, tap the card, then Add to Wallet and confirm on the device prompt — your card is provisioned in about 30 seconds.
No support calls and no waiting for activation texts. The provisioning flow runs on the secure element of your device, and the card appears in the wallet the moment you confirm — the average across 2024 was 31 seconds, including the PIN prompt.
If a card is replaced, re-add the new one from scratch in the same 30-second flow; the old token is revoked automatically when the plastic is reissued.
- Open the app
Log in to the Accesscu app and select the card you want to add.
- Tap Wallet
Choose Add to Wallet, then pick Apple Pay, Google Pay or Fitbit Pay.
- Confirm
Verify with Face ID, fingerprint or your device PIN on the wallet prompt.
- Pay
The card is ready to tap in about 30 seconds — in store, online or on a watch.
I added my card to Apple Pay from the sofa in under a minute — 39 seconds on the first try. The €50 contactless cap suits small coffees, and anything bigger I just use chip and PIN.
Google Pay and Fitbit Pay both carry the same Accesscu card in our house. The €500 daily online wall-per-token saved us twice when the kids' gaming ads got clicky, and a lost phone froze in two taps.
Security: How Tokenisation Works
Each card in a wallet gets a device-specific token — a unique replacement number — so your real card number never reaches the merchant or the wallet provider.
When you add a card, Accesscu issues a token to the secure element of your device. Every payment uses that token plus a per-transaction cryptogram, and neither the merchant nor Apple, Google or Fitbit can reconstruct the card number from it.
Payments are confirmed by biometrics or the device PIN, the token lives only on the device, and a lost phone doesn't mean a lost card: freeze or reissue the token from the Accesscu app in a couple of taps. If you spot a disputed token payment, the 24/7 team on +353 1 555 0123 carries the wallet-specific reference to the card network.
- A unique token per device replaces the card number
- Face ID, fingerprint or device PIN confirms every payment
- Merchants receive the token and a one-time cryptogram, never the PAN
- Lost phone? Freeze the token instantly; the physical card keeps working
Limits by Wallet
Contactless payments in store are capped at €50 per transaction, and each wallet can spend up to €500 online per day — larger amounts need the physical card.
Limits apply per wallet, so Apple Pay and Google Pay on different phones each carry their own €500 daily online allowance, while contactless is €50 per transaction no matter the device.
For bigger spend, the physical card works exactly as always — chip and PIN in store, full card limits online. Wallet limits never lower the card's own limits; they only add a ceiling on token payments.
| Payment type | Limit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Contactless in store | €50 per transaction | Applies to every token payment from a device |
| Online, per wallet | €500 per day | Each wallet has its own separate allowance |
| Large in-store purchases | Card limits apply | Use chip and PIN on the physical card |
Cards, Costs and Availability
